The Elder Scrolls Online - Champion System UX/UI Design

When the Champion System of The Elder Scrolls Online was being re-worked, my team and I supported Zenimax on this feature (among a few others within ESO). Our core work revolved around the UX of the new system, but we had the chance to explore some visual assets as well, namely the slot bar at the top of the screen. We worked closely and collaboratively with the Zenimax team and built the new Champion System together, from the ground up, starting with nothing more than a design document. The main challenge was the UX around how the points would be spent depending on the skill that is being acquired and how the different constellations could be navigated effectively, even when using a controller.
